What is the value of a recalled toy teletubby says the wrong thing?
My friend has the purple teletubby (still in box) says profanity. Apparently, the voice was recorded by a disgruntled employee, and came to the showroom. We are wondering if you know what might be worthwhile. Was purchaswed 12 years ago, that just makes it a collector. Any ideas?
Trying to sell on eBay at a starting price of around $ 15. The more high price will be worth it! : D

Toy Shops in Tokyo
There are many large toy stores around Tokyo, and after years of traveling and searching I've compiled a guide some of the best.
Hakuhinkan Toy Park – Tokyo
Location: Ginza, Tokyo
Nearest metro stations: Shimbashi or Ginza (about 4 minutes foot)
Hakuhinkan was one of the first toy stores I visited in Tokyo, as is mentioned in most guidebooks. That is not the best toy store but worth a visit. The first floor contains a good selection of novelty and odd gadgets and that is where they spend most of my time. The remaining plants contain a good selection of Japanese and western toys if you're looking to get a few toys to bring back to family and friends this is a good place to visit.
Yamashiroya
Location: Ueno, Tokyo
Nearest Station: Ueno
Now, this really is a great store, Yamashiroya spans multiple floors is absolutely full of toys, games, gadgets, whatever, is somewhere. It contains two large selections of toys Japanese and Western, with a nice selection of Transformers and Star Wars. It is very difficult to get into this store without spending some money, although we only outside Gashapon machines.
A strange rule in this store is that you have to pay for your items on the ground who are in, so as you move spending your money, you end up with pockets of more and more items you purchased on the lower floors.
Japanese Monster
Location: Ebisu, Tokyo
Nearest station: Ebisu
Monster Japan is a small shop hidden in the upper floors of the building in Ebisu, Tokyo and specializes in toys and U.S. imports. Although all toys are imports you can still find a bargain, especially if the exchange rate is good. They have a good range of Star Wars, Transformers, GI Joe, and toys all the latest movies.
Kiddy Land
Location: Harajuku Tokyo
Nearest metro Meijijingumae, Harajuku
Do not let the name fool you, Kiddy Land is not just for children, although at a busy place. Spread over seven floors is a great toy store for all.
On each floor there is a diverse range of toys from around the world. They have the largest collection of Peanuts Snoopy and toys I've seen and a great selection of some of the many cute and cuddly characters of most Japanese anime cartoons.
Kiddy Land is a retail chain of stores in other parts of Japan.
Astro Mike
Location: Harajuku, Tokyo
Nearest Stations: Meijijingumae, Harajuku
Astro Mike is a toy store hidden in the backstreets of Harajuku, Tokyo. Although only a few square meters which is filled from floor to ceiling with toys of all kinds. The Smurfs to Star Wars is almost all there. The staff has always been very friendly and helpful what makes it worth a visit, and just a short walk from Kiddyland.
Akihabara
Location: Akihabara, Tokyo
Station station: Akihabara
Although Akihabara is known as the Electric City to sell all electronics and appliances known, is also a great place to the toy collector.
As soon as I get out of Akihabara station that is surrounded by shops selling lots of large and small gadgets. But among these is a lot of toy stores. Animate have a big store here, but most are small independent shops that come and go. Every time we visited have been different stores to find. This is also the best place to find Gashapon machines, which are in most corners and out of most stores.
Nakano Broadway
Location: Nakano, Tokyo
Nearest Station: Nakano
Nakano Broadway Mall is the place probably the biggest and best collection of toys and collectibles store in Tokyo. Located on floors, second, third and fourth is absolutely full of small shops in all types of collectible toys old and new.
Some of my favorite stores in Nakano are Mandrake and Robot. Mandrake has a lot of different stores here each focusing on a different area. The cosplay shop is worth a look. You can even take your old collectibles must be exchanged for cash.
It is easy to spend an entire day here just browsing through the many small shops, each one filled to the brim with things.
Sunshine City
Location: Ikebukuro
Nearest station: Ikebukuro
Sun City is one of the greatest shopping in the malls in Tokyo, often spend a whole day looking around. In front of toy shopping is a pretty big toy R Us in the basement that never fails to deliver. Always has a good selection of Western and Japanese-style toys. And some of the toys of preschool children are so damn cute it's hard not to have another Doreamon for your collection.
Sunshine City outside is a small row of shops specializing in manga and Animate and K-Books.
