Car Racing is in the blood
What is NASCAR? It stands for National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing. This is a penalty body that evaluates the various stock car racing in the U.S.. NASCAR is one of the most popular sports in the U.S. today. One of the reasons for its popularity due to a surge in media exposure. The three Racing Series the association are the sanctions the Craftsman Truck Series Nationwide Series and Sprint Cup.
The sport has also become famous drivers from their cars. Among the drivers of NASCAR's most famous Dale Earnhardt Jr. He has started his career Racing Cars at the early age of 17. Now Sprint Cup races. His father won this series in recent years. For five consecutive years, received the NASCAR Most Popular Driver award from 2003-2007. The fans are responsible for choosing the recipient of this award.
You could say that racing is in the blood of Earnhardt Jr. He has close relatives who are driving other racing series. Others have business related to NASCAR. One of the most noted Earnhardt Ralph, his grandfather. He began a long line of runners in your family car.
Ralph Earnhardt is a legend in the sport. He won his only NASCAR Sports 1956. However, several industry groups have recognized their contributions. National Motorsports Press Association led him to the Hall of Fame in 1989. In 1997, the International Motorsports Hall of Fame did the same. The Rotary Club of Oceanside Daytona Beach Stock Car Racing Hall of Fame inducted him into 2004. Finally, in 2007, dirt Late Model National Hall of Fame was introduced.
Dale's father, Ralph's son also became a racing driver. Ralph wanted your child to take a different path. However, Dale Sr. was determined to follow in the footsteps of his father. He left school and followed his dream.
He became to success in the Winston Cup Series, now known as Sprint Cup. In 1979, he became the Rookie of the Year NASCAR Sprint Cup. He became a champion Series for seven years. The Hall of Fame Racing in 2002 introduced him. In addition, the hall of Fame International Motorsports introduced him in 2006.
It was obvious that someone in their children to assume their role. As it turned out, not only influence Dale Earnhardt Jr., but the greatest of his other son Kerry Dale as well. Although Kerry do not spend much time with his father while he was growing up, ended up doing the sport his father loved. Racing is probably strong in Earnhardt's blood because his son, Jeffrey, also began running in 2007.
Jeffrey Earnhardt was impressive at Wythe Raceway, Hornet Division. Here, won the Rookie of the Year. Also left to look at General Motors for the next best thing in the field of car racing. In 2007, competed in the Busch East Series where he placed fifth. By the end of the season, won the most popular driver.
