the Steering Wheel on the wrong side of the car? Help?
my brother just bought a Car From London, to be exact its a Smart Roadster and the steering wheel is on the right side of the car .. that America is the bad side of having the steering wheel is nowhere to fix this for me to place the wheel on the left side of the car and what do you think would be the price range of this disorder …. smart car roadster London, with a steering wheel on the wrong side is so specific as I can get lol
IF the U.S. allows you to keep the car (for U.S. and emission specifications for security reasons) would not be worth the car converted to LHD. If you get to keep it, leave it as right Hand Drive! it will be more "cool" and worth much later, when the collectors are looking for them. You will have to convert the lenses of the headlight to LHD lenses or is blinding all who come to you. It is NOT illegal to have a car right hand drive in the USA! But certain things have to be done with it. Mercedes itself does not bring smart cars here is carried out by another company that imports and enforces them all NHTSA specifications.
