Potty Training without a net

You've done a great deal of hard work and training to go to the bathroom far so good. To make things run smoothly you have been staying at home and has been working. You have a good system going on between you two and there have been relatively few accidents in recent days. You're even starting I feel that potty training is no big deal.

One wonders if maybe it's time to leave, to go beyond the safety of home. However, you know that the potty training home is very different from the toilet in the big world, but not sure what is different and what to do to prepare and educate its child about what to expect.

Simply because it is new and perhaps a little intimidating, you can not stay home forever. No, really, you can not! Of course, it is tempting to put them in pull ups so you do not have to worry about potential accidents. The only problem is that it's not really send his son the right message about the road ahead.

You know your child can go at least one hour between visits to the bathroom so if the time is right for you might be able to go and return in an hour. Well, maybe. But bladders, bladders especially children, are not always the case. You know what it's like when you get excited or nervous, you need to go to the bathroom more. Your son is like that too, just can not like you can save. So you may find that your child has to go when they are out, not less.

So what can you do?
1. Explain to your child what will happen when you are out, how is it likely to be different house and any concerns you may have.
2. Getting to go, or at least try to go to the bathroom before leaving.
3. Find out where the bathrooms are as soon as you get where you are and go immediately. It is much easier to do this with calm before really need that in the rush of a sudden impulse.
4. If you in public, as you move around always on the lookout for telltale signs bathroom to know exactly in which direction should head if necessary.
5. If you do not have a portable potty with you, try getting your child to sit back on a regular toilet – some children find it easier because they have wall or toilet tank to retain and not feel that the seat will fall to the ground.
6. Take some spare clothes, a pair of plastic bags, and some tissues Baby and paper towels with you in case of accident.
7. If you have an accident in a store or restaurant – let the staff and the race to the bathroom with her son. Sure it is embarrassing but will not be the first. All we can do is apologize – quickly – and leave a good tip.
8. If your child has an accident at home from a friend, then it is your responsibility to clean better. Take your paper towels so you can take action without having to ask for everything and make it a big problem.
9. Do not forget to take your sense of humor – accident or not, you will need. There may be several false alarms with your child to want to know what happens when you say the magic word trigger. If you believe this is happening is not angry with them. Instead try praise for telling you and be as responsible about their bowel control, although I know it is not easy.

Good luck!
