A passing motorist speeding police car stopped. How fast is the car going up?
I need this explained to me not only answered. A speeding driver passes a police car stopped. At the time the car passes, the police car starts from rest with an acceleration constant of 4.28 m/s2. The driver continues to accelerate at a constant speed until car14.8s captured by police later. How fast is the car acceleration going? Thanks, Druisse! My main problem is really .. understanding of the problem! Ja, ja! Your help is greatly appreciated. Two who said he was not fast enough .. thank you, too! I thought it was funny. (The answer is apparently = 31.7 m / s. Why should be divided by 2?
When the police car picks up the car certainly did not have the same speed. The police car catches up with the car running, since it is Faster Than the car in gear. It truth is: They have covered the same distance, and / or been traveling the same time. How far the police go away? S = ut + 0.5 * a * t ² s = 0 + 0.5 * 4.28 * 14.8 s = 468.75m ² The car accelerates at 14.8 sec 468.75m traveled, speed of the car 468.75/14.8 = 31.68 m / s Answer: 31.7m / s

Police car lights are a welcome sight during trouble and even in peacetime
Beacons find good use in undercover operations where permanently fixed police car lights are not advisable. Small beacons can be mounted temporarily on deck, dash, visor, bumper, or grille of the police car as required. Police lights look pretty much like the crowns of Police Cars. They are kept atop the roof of the car at its topmost point, exactly the way a crown is placed. And police car lights are beautiful as well. The lights blink and sparkle like the gems on a crown does.
Police car lights are the channels through which policemen convey their presence to other vehicles on the road. The flashing of police car lights is referred to as active visual warning, as different from passive visual warning. The term passive visual warning refers to the method of warning by display signs on vehicles. The most common of these display signs is the term ‘police’ written boldly on the vehicle. Then are there are also country specific symbols that are painted on police cars demarcating them as emergency vehicles. One such symbol is the Batternburg marking used in some countries.
The more common types of police car lights that are used for warning and communication are rotating beacons, strobe lights, halogen lights, LED lights etc. Till LED light bars started replacing them at a fast rate, roof mounted single beacons were the most common among police car lights. These are still used in many vehicles because of its cost effectiveness or just by way of sticking to convention. One of the places where police car lights have continued to be single rotating beacons is the state of Michigan in USA.
One arena of activity, where single beacons are popular as police car lights, is instances where temporary mounting of lights is required. When undercover operations have to be carried out, permanently mounted police car lights, which would make the vehicle conspicuous, cannot be used. So, small beacons that come with magnetic mounts, or different types of mounting brackets like suction cups or adhesive tapes, are mounted on covert cars when necessary.
These temporary police car lights can be mounted on the inside of the vehicle or outside. Police lights that are mounted on the inside are mainly deck lights, dash lights, and visor lights. Though the main colors for these inside police car lights are generally red, blue, green, and transparent, as most manufacturers give customization options, infinite color choices are given for such lights these days with colored lenses.
Interior police car lights can be fixed on windows or windshield, or near the passenger side or driver side or rear side of the vehicles. Police car lights meant to be mounted on the rear side of the cars are designed in a way that it can function without affecting the driver and passengers vision in that direction. There are even mini lights that can be fixed on seat belt fasteners.
Outside the vehicle, temporary police car lights can be mounted on the wing mirror, bumper, or grille of the car. Most of these lights, whether mounted inside the vehicle or outside it, are functional both in the traffic control mode and warning mode. They lend themselves to fast switching of modes at the press of a button. In short, users are offered ample choices in police car lights.
