I found a recommendation for the use of Mobil One 5W-50 motor oil for my 1998 Audi A4, V6.?
This is a good oil to use? Mobil brand must be expensive, is there anything cheaper that I could use instead of buying Mobil oil for my car? Thanks for helping!
the weight you use depends time abroad … greater weight [ie, 10W40] are better for higher temperatures and lower weight [ie] 5W30 are better at lowering temperatures. This prevents oil of either freezing or too thin / "melt." As for the brand … well … * does not matter until your car is more than a year or two old. It's a bit like using premium vs regular gas … Some people swear that makes the difference, but most say it has none. as in most cases, however, you get what you pay for. if you feel, with the launch in more than expensive things, go for it … if not, there is no reason you can not get cheap things.
