How come Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, got a lot of criticism and negative reviews? how come? why?
I know this movie came out 6 years ago, but I am wondering why it got a lot of negative reviews, criticism from the fans of the Terminator franchise. Eventhough it was not as great as Terminator 2: Judgment Day, I still enjoyed it a lot since I love the Terminator franchise.
I am curious because of the fact that Terminator Salvation just came out, the first Terminator movie in 6 years.
Anyway, why was Terminator 3: Rise of The Machines not so successfull?
Was it because of the fact that James Cameron did not return to direct? that Edward Furlong did not return as John Connor? Why? what were the reasons?
I don’t know. I thought it was saved by its great ending and mood. I think people wanted T2 level film making. Now that Terminator: Salvation is out, T3 looks like Citizen Kane.
It got a bad rap.
