Top Diecast Model Car Makers?
I’m looking to buy 1:18 diecast Model Cars, and I’m not sure of the quality buy just looking on the internet. I know you can tell from price, but many of the manufacturers have the same price range and I’m not sure which are the best out of them. I know two of the better makes are AUTOart and Kyosho. Thanks in advance 
Unfortunately, you really can’t tell based solely on the price of a model. Some 1:18 replicas are going for upwards of $500.00 these days – and the difference in quality and detail between those cars and models going for half that – or less – is not always apparent.
For instance, limited models – cars that are from an abbreviated production run – may cost more. Aside from a different paint job or other easily added detail, they may be exactly the same model, under the skin, as more affordable cars. And some makers have a “join the party” attitude; they see manufacturers like AutoART getting a certain price for their models, and decide to set their own prices to the same level.
Unfortunately, the only way to really experience a Car Model is in hand – or, if you can find it, a video review of a model that shows its operating features and speaks to the car’s quality and entertainment value.
