Kyle Petty making comments from inside the car at Sonoma. What do you think this will work?
Until now, Kyle has made a wonderful job breathing new life into TNT's coverage of NASCAR. I think however that one can bite more than it can chew trying to fight and make comments, at the same time. Traffic courses are difficult and require a high level of concentration. It's hard to concentrate when you're doing the commentary. I wish you all the best and I am interested to see how this experiment turns out.

GM promotes use of renewable fuels
Brent Dewar, GM vice president of field sales, service and parts while working for General Motors in Brazil in the 1990s came to change the country's successful experience in the oil-based economy to ethanol. Dewar expects the same changes occurring in the United States and believes that NASCAR can help. It is urging the authorities to consider ethanol as an alternative fuel solution.
By Dewar, "As we embrace. We think it would be great on many fronts, because obviously it would send a signal to the public. Many people do not understand the benefits ethanol. "
The use of renewable fuels are already employed by another series of races, such as the Indy Racing League Indycar Series run 100 percent ethanol similar to the American LeMans Series race at an ethanol blend of 10 percent.
And now NASCAR has also expressed his desire to give an opportunity ethanol. Driver Kyle Petty said NASCAR's marketing power could lead alternative fuels into the mainstream consumer help forget the image of hippies terrified putting vegetable oil in his 1980 Mercedes. But with the growing danger of global warming caused by harmful automobile emissions, efficiency has become a trivial matter. The important thing is to save the environment. However, the continuous study and research are conducted to make ethanol as efficient as gasoline.
"I think that global warming and all the things you write about it, more people are aware of the fact you have to do something, "said Petty.
Most American cars fueled by 90 percent and 10 percent ethanol blends in order to run on heavier blends of ethanol, vehicles must be specially equipped. According to Dewar, technological innovations can help reduce the price of ethanol. Currently, ethanol use in the U.S. is derived from corn, while the ethanol used in Brazil came from the sugar cane. There are some research findings that show certain types of grass and even wood chips showing a much better source for ethanol. Researchers are also working to develop enzymes that break down the waste into ethanol. Dewar said that within five years we should expect the cars to run, literally, the fuel from recycled garbage.
It is encouraging to see that the largest automaker manufacturer in the world and popular car accessories car covers GM , General Motors — is so passionate about its goal of helping the environment. Does this mean that we will see GM cars greener in the future?
