What is in my 1977 GMC Motorhome Chassis Midas with 454 engine?
Im trying to find parts to buy getting lucky. Im on the parts website and I found 1977-GMC-then they have stuck. It does not say anywhere Midas. Where I can find what you do on the chassis or does anyone know? I have no manual the owner.

Car: Alvis TE21
Fruity old actor Stephen Fry has a lawyer east of England in this comedy-drama kind and sneaks around Norfolk in a fabulous Alvis TE21 Drophead – provoking an interest in Classic Cars of a whole new generation.
Alvis is a weird brand. At best, 50 years after 1920, the Coventry-based firm produced cars that stands out for superior quality, great handling and a stylish character and sports. The TE21 model arrived at the end of 1963 – and a stiff suspension that could change a bit.
The TE21 was pretty heavy yet managed a very respectable top speed of 120 mph and was available with manual transmission or a gearbox five-speed manual. It is a very, very elegant classic – and a restored version could easily go back? 100,000.

TV Programme: The Sweeney
Car: Mk1 Ford Consul GT
When ITV in the UK Sweeney detection for the first time, the program marked a new concept in police programs. Previously fed a diet of boring old 'bobbies' like Z-cars and Dixon of Dock Green, The Sweeney had fast cars, swearing, scenes sex, alcohol and extreme violence.
And he did household names of main characters Reagan and Carter. Series 1 and 2, the pillar of the crew was a brown CID Mk1 Ford Consul GT copper, reg NHK 295M – although in later series, Ford Grenades were the norm.
The Consul had front bucket seats as standard, a central change floor-mounted Remote Control equipment and the speedometer, fuel temperature gauges and all had black non-reflective mark.
Pack Consul 'L offered special seats, loop pile carpet color keyed to the interior, vanity mirror, heated rear screen, clock and trip mileage recorder (Sweeney is not that bothered with anything within the law!). No surprises then that they went for the GT pack option, which includes larger 3.0 V6 – capable 0-60mph in 9 seconds.

TV Programme: Inspector Morse
Car: 1960 Jaguar Mk II
In the novels of Colin Dexter, cars temper copper Inspector Morse was a classic Lancia, but ITV used a Jaguar MK II 2.4 from the beginning of the television series. In fact, the Carmen red Jag became so iconic that new editions of earlier novels have been changed to Morse's car is a Jaguar!
The Jaguar Mark II 'a compact sedan four-door "was introduced in October 1959, at a price of only? 1534.00 and made until 1967. Morse Jaguar is a model with a 2.4-liter double overhead cam engine of 6-cylinder 2483 cc 120 CV da.
It is a bit slow for TV coppers, only capable of accelerating from 0-60 mph in 17.3 seconds, with a maximum speed of 96.3 mph, but Morse did not exactly need to burn around the university city of Oxford. Mk11s Jaguar made almost 84 000, 25 070 Morse's 2.4 variation.

TV: James Bond films
Car: Aston Martin DB5
007 Spy of love fast cars is evident all the way through the original Ian Fleming novels and when the time to make the silver screen, car lovers everywhere drooled upon his magnificent DB5 .
The 1963 DB5 is famous for being the first and most recognized Bond cars, with in particular: Goldfinger, Thunderball, GoldenEye, Tomorrow Never Dies and Casino Royale, while background also made appearances in The World Is Not Enough and Diamonds Are Forever.
The DB5's engine had been enlarged from the previous DB4's 3.7L to 4.0L, while the addition of a transfer five speeds and three SU carburetors enabled the car to pull 282hp and propel to 141 mph (238 km / h).
Standard equipment on the DB5 included reclining seats, pile carpets, electric windows and a fire extinguisher. All models had four seats and two doors. The UK recommended list price of the sports saloon (coupe) in December 1963 was? 4248 including sales tax, the convertible was? 4562.

TV Programme: Dukes of Hazzard
Car: 1969 Dodge Charger
Testosterone-filled young to remember a couple of things about the Dukes of Hazzard – Catherine Bach endless legs (and vague in PERT spray-on denim shorts) and the General Lee car.
The General Lee was a 1969 Dodge Charger with a 426 Hemi in every season of success (with the exception second season, where he had a 440 Magnum engine.) It also is said to model the way and tracks.
Bright orange with a Confederate flag painted on the roof, and the words "General Lee" and the number '01 'on every door, the car's name refers to the American Civil War Confederate General Robert E. Lee.
The show also used 1968 Chargers since the start (which shared mostly the same sheet metal) by changing the grill and taillights style 1969 model years, and narrow 68-round side marker lights, which were rectangular in the year '69 model.

TV Programme: Starsky and Hutch
Car: Ford Torino
We loved the 1970s. long hair, disco music, heavy sweaters – All this in one TV series. Los Angeles cops Starsky and Hutch fought villains in a two-door Ford Torino, which was red with a large white vector stripe.
He was nicknamed the Striped Tomato by Hutch but the term did not come from the series' writers – came from a real-life comment that actor Paul Michael Glaser (Starsky) made. The rule Torino was pretty dull, so producers Jazzed up with a vector of large White Stripes, the 5-slot alloys and larger rear tires. dampers Air is added to give the car an aggressive slope and it worked – especially for Ford, who built replicas of the 1000 Starsky and Hutch "car in the spring 1976.
The 'Starsky and Hutch replica "was available with all engines in Torino, and the limited production package was essentially an option Special Paint with the group and two top luxury sport mirrors with body color as mandatory options. Seat colors were limited to white or black and available with all cloths and seating options.

TV: Knight Rider
Car: 1982 Pontiac Trans Am
Forget The first vaccine Hof Hasselhoff Baywatch – bubble haired David 'to fame in Knight Rider – a crazy television series that ran from 1982-1986 which included KITT, a talking car equipped with cool devices.
As expected, given its low-budget cast, KITT became the star show, but then it was a gleaming black 1982 Pontiac Trans Am The car oozed sex appeal and sparked a huge interest in American Classics, there is still today.
By the way, KITT stands for "Knight Industries Two Thousand 'an eponymous remove the cap to its weird-with-technology creators to combat crime.

TV: The first team

Da-da-da, Dad, da. Da, Dad, da, da, dadada, da. It is hard to believe that all TV programs, especially in Hollywood, could make vans sexy – but the first team did it in bucket loads.
The black and metallic gray GMC van used by the A-Team – a collection of crazy crime-fighting misfits – had a characteristic red stripe, Black Wheels and Red Color, roof spoiler, and instantly became an icon.
The truck is a 1983 Series G, which is customized to a large extent by the Universal Declaration Studios prop department. The engine is a 350 cid with minor modifications (primarily hydrates carbon and exhaust system), while the turbine wheels are 15 "painted black with red accents.
Other modifications include – Conversion of quad headlights, full front brush, fog / driving lights, exterior sun visors, exhaust tips of four squares (each side front wheel rear), and Custom Made rear wing. Interior custom bucket seats white shag rug and custom box on the back.
Also had husky air shocks in the rear to improve handling, which was poor and underpowered. In fact, the scenes where burning was done by spraying bleach ahead and the rear tires which creates billowing gray smoke.

TV Program: "Back to the Future (film)
By car: De Lorean DMC-12
Look, make no bones about it, apart from James Bond DB5 This is the TV and the car's iconic film. It caught the attention in real life and that caught the attention on the screen.
The De Lorean DMC-12 became a Time Machine to "Back to the Future but was designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro and manufactured for real in 1981 by the De Lorean Motor Company, in Northern Ireland. The 2-Door Coupe had a 2.8 L (2849 cc) V6 engine and was available in 5-speed manual or 3 speed automatic transmission.
He was the only model ever produced by the company and had doors gull-wing, with a bottom of fiberglass, which non-structural brushed stainless steel panels are fixed.
The first prototype appeared in March 1976 and officially started production in 1981 (with the first DMC-12 out of the production line on January 21) at the DMC factory in Dunmurry, Ireland North. During its production, several aspects of the car were changed, as the style of hood, wheels and interior.
About nine thousand DMC-12 were made before Production stopped in late 1982.

The TV show: The Herbie 'Love Bug'
Car: 1963 Volkswagen Beetle convertible sedan.
Peace and love, man. With the amount of "acid" fallen into the atmosphere of the late hippified 60 were not all that surprised when a film starring a humanised VW beetle appeared.
Herbie The Love Bug was a 1963 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible luxury sedan painted in Volkswagen L87 Pearl White. The interior is find a white suit, but the interior of Herbie was painted a special non-gray-reflective so the camera and does not reflect studio lights.
In this original 1968 film, Herbie's stripes differ from those later movies – the stripes do not cover the valances or louvers of the car and the blue is a lighter shade. In addition, Herbie has body-color running boards, while in the stirrups the latest movies are standard black.
