Garage Diorama

Getting Cheap Garage Doors For Several Purposes
Everyone has their own little hideaway in their own homes. Moms have their bathroom and dressers and sisters lock away in their own rooms, chatting on the phone or going online these days and messaging their friends if not blogging up the latest news around their private worlds. Most fathers go off to do their own little hobbies and things in the garage. Those cheap garage doors actually open up to personal sanctuaries of the men of the house which are interesting because these men are relegated to a location that is not actually inside of the house.
Oftentimes tiny and filled with things that are not worth keeping inside the house for a variety of reasons like it may be poisonous, flammable or for the most part, it doesn’t fit the look of the house, the men take what they can and make the most with whatever the women give them. It’s almost like taking the table scrapes from the dining table, but when you’re told to do so, you just nod and obey without complaint and fanfare. Yet everything that is important to the men may be found inside of these cheap garage doors.
A wooden table or a workstation with tools of all sizes, types, and shape found around it, locked within a wood cabinet embraced perhaps by chicken wire. Often times, this workstation is cluttered with things, but this mess has some organization behind it. The table is off limits to everyone and everyone respects this rule. Or perhaps an intricate hand assembled train station set fills the room. Every element and fixture in this diorama hand painted and meticulously placed. There is a stool beside this model which is old and worn.
A hideaway of a past youth found beyond those cheap garage doors. The sound of loud music and drums accompanying it reverberate those cheap garage doors. The garage is sound proofed enough to contain most of the noise but one can’t help feel the pulse and the beat of those drums, which initially just sounded like noise but as time passed by, actually sounded a little more professional. The garage room with its exteriors resembling a poker room, with the air filled with cigar smoke, a mini fridge, and a steel case containing clay weighted poker chips and cards make up part of the scene. Chairs of different ages of wear and tear add character to it. Such are just some of the contents behind the cheap garage doors.
We men have our own mannerisms and unique traits different to that of women. While we respect their personal space and time, we have a right to have ours. Never mind that we do not get first pick of the area but at the very least, we are left with something. The garage, for most cases, act not as only as a place of refuge for our vehicles but for our manhood itself. This is what makes most things interesting in a successful relationship between a man and woman: space-both figurative and literal.

Scale Model Car builders!!!! Parts?
Hey, I’m looking to see, if anyone knows of a place (website something like that) that sells 2.0L DOHC 4 cylinder BARE engine blocks.
I’m doing a diorama of a Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX in a garage having the engine rebuilt and the black out of the car.
Just wondering. Thanks. God bless!
It’s a 1/25 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse made by Revell. Knowing my crazy ideas, I’ll have to attempt making one myself.
And if you want to get REALLY technical, the real life engine is a 4G63T.
Thank you for your help by the way!
What Scale ??
I’m an aircraft and armor modeller and there are a lot of resin after-market kits for the various engines !!
Doing a QUICK search, I found this site that has car engines in resin and metal in 1/12 and 1/24: http://shop.scalereprosplus.ieasysite.com/default.aspx?categoryid=0 BUT it looks like mostly Chevy and other US Products.
Give me a scale and manufacturer for your Mitsubishi, and I’ll do a more detailed search !!
GOOD LUCK, and it sounds like a GREAT diorama !!
EDIT: Still wasn’t able to find your specific engine, so it looks like you MAY have to scratch build, or modify other parts. Here though is another link to 1/24 & 1/25 aftermarket parts that might help:
