38 weeks and only 5% effaced!!! HELP!!!!

I need some advice. They want to induce me on Saturday because thats my 39 week mark. The baby is already measuring at 9lbs and 6oz. head 14 inches around. My Dr. doesn’t think its a good idea to go past 39 weeks because of some back problems that I have, nor do i think I should go past it. I was induced with my first son so i was really wanting to try it naturally this time. I went to my check up today and nothing is happening. My cervix is still high and closed. and only 5% effaced. thats nothing. Is there anything I can do to help loosen the cervix, to help become effaced. I don’t want to do anything like castrol oil because i don’t want to use medicine to force labor. however, i’ve been walking a lot but thats not seeming to do the trick. also, how long does it take to become fully effaced? any info will be a great help. thanks
