What do super fuel / exotic cars use?
I've always wondered what gas stations do exotic like Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, Aston Martin, Bentley, etc. to go. I know these types of vehicles higher octane demand as 98, etc but you can always find not high-octane at the pump. The highest I've seen is 93 here in Los Angeles. Is there a particular Gas Station, or you could just take him to a Chevron Shell, etc, and just get the highest octane rating?
They work with the same premium fuel (93 +) that run on other cars. 98 octane is the European. Octane European is not the same as American / Canadian octane. The highest score seen in Europe is an artifact of a measurement procedure underlying different. In most countries (including Europe and Australia) the headline "" octane that is displayed on the pump is the RON, but in the United States, Canada and some other countries the headline number is the average of the RON and MON, sometimes called the antiknock index (AKI), Road Octane Number (RdON) octane pump (PON) or (R + M) / 2. Because of the difference 8-10 points noted above, this means that the octane of the United States will be about 4-5 points Unless the same fuel elsewhere: 87 octane, the "regular" gasoline in the U.S. and Canada, would be 91-92 in Europe. However most European pumps to deliver 95 (RON) as "a regular", equivalent to 90-91 U.S. (R + M) / 2, and deliver 98 (RON), 99 or 100 (RON) labeled as Super Unleaded.
