Centurion Tank

Everyone bags WW2 British tanks, but were Cromwell, Churchill and Comet tanks tank worse than the M4.?
I know a lot of people bag WW2 British tanks, but still I have a weakness for them. British tanks were above really as bad as all say they were and how British armor then compare the M4 tank. Why not take Britain sloped armor before the Centurion tank, would was good to see that the Centurion tank in action during the final phase of World War 2 armed with a machine gun Besa Pounder 17 German Armor. Cheers John.
The comet was the Best British tank to see combat during the war, to replace Sherman, but was only available in numbers in recent months for saw little of major combat. Difficult to judge how good it was. Since it is based on a long line of previous cruiser tanks and components used primarily tested and construction methods are expected to should have performed well. Meteor engine was my humble opinion the best Tank Engine of the Western Allies had World War II and the 77 mm cannon was certainly adequate. British tank development is not difficult to guess. Britain was at war since September 1939. Once development is for the new war must have a bootable backup of the burner as much what you already have as you can. This is especially true after disaster of 1940-41. Thus, the British cruiser tank design during the war we must trace its lineage directly to the A15 Christie inspired by the Crusades, which dated back 1939. Everything to the Comet (issued December 1944) was a descendant of this tank. Although the comet to share parts of its overall design had to be similar, because that is what we could design and put out quickly with the resources available. The Centurion was the first completely new design tank to be given to be developed and even serious work can not begin until July 1943 when the prohibition to work on anything that could not be in service in 1944 was lifted. The Centurion was the first British tank to really absorb the many lessons learned since 1940 and finally dispelled the picturesque and the distinction between impracticable "Cruiser" and Infantry tanks.
