What does it mean when my car runs very loud?
I have a 1999 Mercury Cougar and lately the engine has sounded very loud when I hit the gas.. almost sounds like exhaust but I know it is not right. Any ideas, and cost?
If it real loud, then it is your exhaust. Take it to a muffler shop. Most will check your exhaust system for you at no charge. Good luck!!
