Everything mudders out there? Need help with F-150 question.?
I have an F-150 5.4L V-8 Triton engine. When Mudding, and the next day there was a bad shock. Become the water and mud got into my cylinders, I suppose, and cut my coils. I went to a local shop that is Very Good, and paid $ 157 for a new coil and spark plug, the price also includes labor. 2 days later it happens again, but a different cylinder. So far, have not been to do it again. There are still some mud in the engine, when I look down the bell, and when I look under the truck, there is still some mud in the engine. Heres the question. Is this the mud finally only fall by heat, or the next time it rains, will the water in the right way to wash it off? Only ask, do not want to wash my engine in the Car Wash again, unless yall give me $ 150 $: D! Anyone?
when we were a lot of money back in the day, just cover up the distributor when the engine pressure washing. This works great for fat as well. never had a problem with anything short. sounds like shit to me. only covers the top of the engine, and shoot water into the bottom. should solve your problem. Also, it should be a rain very heavy with high water to wash the bottom of your engine. heat can do, but I would not count on it. you spray your entire engine, or just with particular attention to the mud is? shoot for the mud, not the top of the engine. certainly do not want water in your distributor or plugs. good luck!
